I grind for espresso and I can increment the grind measurement in slight increments in keeping with how neatly the espresso is making it throughout the porta-filter on my espresso desktop. Awesome option to wonderful tune and adjust according to the quality and age of the beans.
Built like a pro grinder - heavy duty!
Regarding the choice of dosser vs. doserless: If you are going to us this as a COMMERCIAL grinder and pour shot after shot - go together with a dosser for measuring comfort. But you'll at all times have some of your floor espresso sitting in the hopper.
If you are making your espresso's separately - go doserless. Then you are getting your espresso freshly floored simply earlier than you utilize it.
